Adam Block

Adam was born and raised in Sacramento. He earned a bachelor's degree in history from UC Davis in 2004. He also attended Berklee College of Music 2007-08 and was on the Dean's list for two out of three semesters. He has studied under local artists such as Lew Fratis, Jimmy Pailer, Curt Shiflet, Dave Lynch and Steve Homan. In Boston he studied with Bret Willmott, John Baboian, and Jim Kelly. He is currently working on a second Bachelor's degree in music at CSUS.

Adam has performed throughout the Sacramento area for the last 15 years in various bands and solo performances. His musical knowledge spans the blues, rock, funk, and jazz. He enjoys teaching music and feels that it is important to focus on what inspires his students to play, and to help them set and reach attainable goals.
