1980 Les Paul Custom - Modified

These five shots are of a 1980 Les Paul Custom Dave modified to accommodate the RMC Piezo/synth driver pickup system.  The inner control cavity and side out-put area required extensive routing. This system gives the player the stock pickup output through the 1/4" jack with a master volume and master tone, and blend control for panning between the mag pickups and the piezo saddles, as well as a synth volume for the Roland VG8 or GR guitar series synth units. Also in the control set is a guitar/mix/synth 3 way switch and a program up/down switch. Installation on this type of guitar runs around $375.00 plus parts.
